Description
Improves Handling. Factory rubber bushings deteriorate over time causing sloppy handling and poor ride quality, so upgrade your Mustangs suspension with a set of Prothane Polyurethane Sway Bar End Link Bushings for more responsive handling and better overall driving performance.

Polyurethane Construction. Prothane bushings are made from a polyurethane material which is far superior than standard rubber. Polyurethane is unique in that it has the elasticity properties of rubber combined with the durability of metal, making it ideal for suspension bushings.

Application. This set of eight Prothane Sway Bar End Link Bushings are designed for use on all 1979 to 2004 Mustangs, including the LX, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models.

    tight!

Very nice product and easy to install. Made a huge improvement over my stocky "mushy" bushings. I also installed the prothane sway bar bushings and steering rack bushings.

Really put the stick into my steering.

My stock soft rubbers blew out in less than a year TWICE due to alot of autocrossing this stock convertible. Had these installed for free by local tire shop who had installed stock ones that blew out in under 10 months. Car rides better. Steering is crisp. Really enhances the new strut tower and K member braces I just put on. Fortunately I had previously replaced the 2 main bar bushings with stiff ones two years ago so they are still like new. In hindsight I should have replaced the whole set then. But they were new by PO.

    Just buy them

These are a great addition to new front sway bar bushings. Install is very easy and will tighten up sloppy steering and give better ride quality overall. They are a cheap in price and American muscle always gives free shipping, so it's a win, win for you and your mustang!

    Crystal's endlinks

I jacked up the front, placed her on jack stands, loosened the top and bottom nut on my OE endlinks using 15mm deepwell socket on both top and bottom and placed an adjustable wrench on the center of the OE endlink. It has a flat spot for adjustments. I then loosened the sway bar bushing so the swaybar had more play. I removed my end links, blasted them and painted them blue before I fitted the new bushings. I like to leave it better than I found it. End link bushings fit perfectly! after bushing were replaced, I tightened the swaybar bushings to factory spec snd snugged up the endlink bushings. Put the car back on the floor before tightening the endlink nuts. This uses the suspension to place tension on the bushings. I then tightened the nuts on top and bottom and took her (Crystal) for a drive. I had replaced the bushings last year so there was not a huge difference in the handling but it was there. She is defintely tighter though.
