      Great upgrade

A no brainer for upgrade and how the car should have arrived in the first place. Supports greater rear end stability and performance.

      Noticeable Improvement

These are a fairly simple fix to help tighten up the IRS. The bearing is smaller in diameter than removal/install tools can handle. So I used 1 5/16” socket as the tool interface — Worked great.

      Improved Control

Ford dropped the ball leaving these off the Performance Package Mustangs which already have spherical bearings at the inboard end of the toe links from the factory as part of the package. I'm sure it was a manufacturing cost decision, but since they do include them in their bolt on track handling package (which is just the the PP suspension goodies plus these) it's a no-brainer for anyone wanting the most out of their Performance Package Mustang. Not too hard to install with decent ball joint service kit and a few choice words.

Improves Consistency of Rear Wheel Toe

This isn't something most folks would really notice but in hard cornering, especially like in Auto-X, the toe will change on account of gravitational pressure. This spherical bearing effectively locks up the most vulnerable spot for toe to be affected which helps maintain more predictable handling and perhaps less tire wear. Do I notice a difference driving around? Not really, although with every addition to stiffen up the IRS the car feels more stable, and that is the case here. These also help keep the IRS in check and aligned after lowering the vehicle and especially with subframe bracing which will put more of the "suspension work" on the actual suspension, which is the case for me (Steeda Ultralite, Pro-Action dampers, bracing, etc.). This is an upgrade for someone wanting to have predictable track performance, not so much a daily driver who ne. I had a family mechanic install these because pushing out and in bushings is a pain in the old jewels and I just don't have the patience to deal with autoparts store rental tools.

      Great upgrade

Another great item from Ford Racing took about an hour to install using ford's install instructions. Again it is a quality product from Ford. If you want better handling get this item.

      Best priced suspension mod

After discussing this piece with others on a local mustang forum this part seems like a no-brainer. This part comes in the Ford racing handling package but does not come on the ford mustang performance package from the factory. However the Ford racing handling package includes many of the pieces found on the performance package. It would almost seem that this was the lost forgotten part of the ford performance package. This was a very easy installation and could be done in about an hour to two hours. This piece provides a great improvement for toe stability. Many aftermarket suspension companies recommend changing this along with their other products. If you own a performance package car, or any mustang for that matter, and would like to obtain some better handling and ensure the tire provide a good contact patch under load I would definitely recommend this. You can't go wrong. The price is too cheap and benefits to gain are just blatantly there. Get yours now!
