More Horsepower And Torque. Replace that restrictive stock intake, throttle body and upper intake plenum with a SR Performance Combo Kit from AmericanMuscle for more horsepower and torque. This combo kit will greatly improve your engines incoming airflow path to produce more useable power and to increase throttle response.
No Tune Required. Unlike other Throttle Body, Cold Air Intake and Upper Plenum Combo Kits on the market today for the Ford Mustang this SR Performance Combo Kit does not require a computer re-tune. The engineers at SR Performance really did their homework to improve your Pony's power using the stock tune.
70MM Bore. Your 4.6L's stock throttle body is a restrictive 56mm, choking off airflow and keeping your Mustang from giving you everything it has. But this SR Performance throttle body and matching Upper Intake Plenum features a generous, free flowing 70mm single bore design for significantly more air to feed the fire under your hood.
Reusable Filter. SR Performance designed their Cold Air Intakes with a reusable high flow cotton air filter. So no there is no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!
Easy Bolt-On Installation. This SR Performance Intake Combo Kit is designed to be a straight forward install with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for a simple 2 hour installation.
Application. This SR Performance 70mm Throttle Body with Cold Air Intake and Upper Intake Plenum is specifically designed to fit the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4.6L V8 modular motor.
Application Note. 70mm throttle bodies work great on stock or mildly modified 4.6L Mustangs, if you already have or are planning on more aggressive modifications, you may want to consider a SR Performance 75mm throttle body kit.
