  • Performance V2 (87-93 Octane) - The Performance Tune offers a seamless blend of power, performance and drive-ability. Improving the overall driving experience of your Mustang, the Bama Performance Tune improves vehicle acceleration, increases power throughout the entire RPM and improves throttle response with revised timing, fuel, and TiVCT maps. Automatic equipped vehicles offer an aggressive shifting map to provide more aggressive transmission settings. This tune is suggested for the aggressive daily driver that is looking for more "get up and go".

  • Race V2 (91-93 Octane, E85, Race Fuel) - The Race Tune is designed for maximum performance and ensures the largest increase in vehicle performance. Using the highest grade of fuel available in your area is mandatory as timing, TiVCT, fuel, and throttle response settings are very aggressive. Automatic transmission settings implement entirely new shift points, torque converter changes and firmness settings designed for Track use.

Nitrous (91, 93, E85, Race Fuel) - Our nitrous option can be added to any of our previously mentioned tune options, but only for 91, 93, E85, or Race Fuel.

Technical Note About Fuel. Use of E85 will require larger fuel injectors such as Injector Dynamics ID1300 or Ford Racing 47lb/hr Injectors. Unleaded race fuel can also be used, but Stoichiometric points must be supplied.

Easy to load; easy to restore. Not only are the custom tunes easy to load on your vehicle, it is just as easy to restore your factory settings. When you load your custom tune on the vehicle, the tuner automatically stores your vehicle's factory settings. To return the vehicle to its factory settings, just plug the tuner back in, select the option to restore the factory settings, and you're done.

    Get the Kit!

    When the new X-4 SCT tuner came out, I was very interested. It holds up to 10 tunes, works faster, and has wi-fi capabilities. Couple that with Bama Tunes "free tunes for life" and you have a tuner with a tune for every situation. THEN, add in the 3.73 gears you have always wanted, and you KNOW you're going to need the install kit and pinion bearing; and you have a killer Combo Kit! You need the tuner to make the gears work with your auto trans and speedo, once you have the pair, it will be that much easier to add headers, throttle bodies, after cats, etc. Sounds expensive, doesn't it? The best part is the money you save with the kit makes it more affordable! This tuner is so fast, I changed tunes at the pump while putting the gas in. The gears and tunes put my daily driver V6 into the 13's. My original plan was to get it a la carte, but when I saw the sale price, I just couldn't wait. Killer tunes, killer gears no added parts to buy, they even give you the oil! Save the money, get the combo, you WILL be happy

    Just do it!

    You won't belive how much more responsive your mustang will be with a 3.73's in it! I can now do burnouts with my 2012 V6, and 0 to 100 is insane!. I also have a 2008 GT and I know this 2012 coupe could blow it's doors off.

    3;73 GEAR SET WITH TUNER

    I run a shop for a living but opted to have my gear set installed by a professional gear man, Lindsey McClure, at Lindseys ring and pinion. He traveled with NHRA and Nascar as the gear installer for the racers when he was with Richmond gear. Lindsey highly recommends Ford Racing gears! The set up was perfect he said yet the gears have a slight growl sound from 40mph on down to stop. I will give them time to wear in and if not, AM said they will take care of me on it. The gear ratio is awesome after changing from the stock 2:73 that just lugged the 3.7 engine at low speeds. RPM is only 500 more at 60 mph and is matched great to this engine with the automatic transmission. As far as the tuner goes, I am disappointed with the 87 octane sport tune. Can't really tell any difference from stock except the transmission shifts at very low rpms unless you are in the throttle hard. The 91 octane performance tune is really good. Still shifts too early and shifts a lot in around town driving, but when you nail it, you can definitely feel the difference. This performance tune is the best one in my opinion. The 93 octane Race only tune feels only that the shift points are a little harder and at different points. All around the best tune is the performance tune. I have not experienced the super gain that a few reviews have claimed, but yes, I can feel a difference. I think the gearing has made most of the difference, more so than the tuner. One more thing, locally driving I usually average around 21 to 22mpg before the gear change. So far on the first tank of fuel I now am averaging 20mpg. Not a bad trade off for the low end torque!
