      Description

      One Piece Design. Having fun in your S550 Mustang means your shifter is likely to take a major beating. Given that the shifter is in constant use, it's more likely that the super glued factory reverse lock-out adapter may crack or even worse, break. Break your pop up collar and both you and your Pony will be wishing you invested in this Barton Billet Aluminum Replacement. Leave the fear of losing reverse behind and replace that weak, plastic adapter before it's too late.

      Billet Construction. Not only is billet aluminum extremely durable, but it also complements your factory interior with its brushed finish. Get rid of that two piece pull up collar that is prone to breaking, as it's only held together with glue. Many fellow S550 owners have been left without the ability to back up their Mustang. Don't get stuck in the same situation and eliminate the plastic components from you shifter setup.

      Simple Installation. With about 30 minutes, a flathead screwdriver and a razor blade, you can easily swap out your stock reverse lock-out adapter with Barton's Pop Up Collar. Disassembly of the shifter boot is required in order to install this aluminum replacement, but the process is straight forward. Designed to be used along with the reverse lock-out mechanism, this collar only works with the factory shift knob or aftermarket shift knobs and shifters that retain its function.

      Application. Made in the USA, this high quality Barton Pull Up Collar is specifically designed for use on manual 2015-2024 GT, EcoBoost and V6 Mustangs that maintain the reverse lock-out mechanism.
