Whats everything i will need to do with this kit for my 2001 Bullitt? Anyone have a rough total cost that it took you do install this kit with anything else you had done with it?

  • If this will be lowering your mustang more than 1.5 inches from stock, I would probably look at changing the bump steer setup.

    Overall good product!!

First off i was upgrading from a completely shot system on my 97gt so anything was an upgrade, but from experience Bilstein shocks have always done right by me. and sure enough they ride like a champ. now as with any lowering kit the ride is a tad stiffer and some bumps will scare the heck outta you the first couple of times but then you get use to it. also after your done installing everything and you look at it dont worry if it "doesnt look lowered" with any new spring swap it takes some miles for them to settle and achieve advertised lower stance. any mechanically inclined person with common hand tools can do this job in an afternoon take your time and include the stock isolators or new ones if purchased dont throw these out sounds like a squealing mouse if you do. Happy tuning!

I've had this kit for a couple months now and the handling is night and day compared to the stock setup it's tighter on turns almost no body roll and its overall a lot stiffer. Ppl say its a bad ride but honestly it's not that bad it's not smooth but it's not noticeably bumpy. It also may take awhile to see the drop it took me awhile to notice it because the wheel gap is still about 2 Inches although I have 18's on now. The nose doesnt dip down as mush either when braking. I recommend this product for someone looking for handling improvements. American muscle always ships quick its normally at my house within 2 days of when I receive confirmation.

    cool upgrade

This was an relativly easy install over all the hardest part was romoving some of the old parts! Then getting the new front springs were a bit of a chalenge but we got it done. It took us the better part of a day to do it, but im very happy with the improvements.
