Improves Driving Performance. Enhance the rear suspension of your V8 Foxbody by upgrading to some Bilstein HD Series Rear Shocks. Designed to provide unbelievable control and precise handling, all without sacrificing ride comfort, the Bilstein B6 Heavy Duty Series Shock is a great choice when wanting to improve the overall driving performance of your 1987-1993 V8 Mustang.

Heavy Duty Design. The Bilstein HD Series Rear Shock is a heavy duty upgrade that features a steel bodied, gas pressurized monotube construction. Complete with dust covers, a yellow exterior and internal bump stops, this shock is compatible with either stock springs or aftermarket lowering springs.

Monotube Technology. Even though the HD Shock isn't adjustable, the unique deflective-disc valve design allows for instantaneous self-adjustment to changing road conditions. The patented monotube allows for a larger piston size than twin-tube dampers and will provide better heat dissipation.

Application. This Bilstein Heavy Duty Series Rear Shock is designed for use on the 1987-1993 V8 Mustangs, including the LX 5.0, GT and Cobra models. Sold individually.

      Exceeded expectation

Installed these on an 81 Cobra which already had 8.8 rear end. I've owned the car for 28 years and I have never seen such a handling improvement over twin tube shocks. I now have 3 vehicles with Bilstein and they are superior shocks.

      Great shock

Replaced my old 30 year old shocks with these, and wow! Rides like a brand new car. Got these because of the mm coilover conversion but put them in for the time being, and I'm debating leaving it as is. That's how well they ride.

      Quality shocks

Unfortunately due to weather here in MA I haven't had a chance to test them yet but I've also never heard anything negative about them so I picked up a pair. Nice looking pcs as well!
