B12 Suspension Package. A Bilstein Shock, Strut & B12 Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit is possibly the most comfortable and best performing suspension system available for your V8 Mustang. Engineered as a direct fit upgrade, the combination of Bilstein's Heavy Duty (HD) Shocks and Struts with Eibach's Pro-Kit Lowering Springs will transform your 1994-2004 GT, Bullitt or Mach 1 into a true street warrior.

Heavy Duty Design. The Bilstein HD Series Shocks and Struts are a heavy duty upgrade that feature a steel bodied, gas pressurized monotube construction. Complete with dust covers, a yellow exterior and necessary installation hardware, these high performance dampers will significantly improve your driving experience without sacrificing ride quality.

Monotube Technology. Even though the HD components aren't adjustable, their unique deflective-disc valve design allows for instantaneous self-adjustment to changing road conditions. The patented monotube allows for a larger piston size than twin-tube dampers and will provide better heat dissipation.

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs. Included in this suspension package are the well known Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs. Designed to lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nose-dive under heavy braking, these springs will also help rid your Pony of that stock 4x4 look.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing a new set of springs on your Mustang you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators at the same time, please the see option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. The Eibach lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This Bilstein Shock, Strut & B12 Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit is specifically designed for use on the 1994-2004 GT, 2001 Bullitt and 2003-2004 Mach 1 models.

why won't this kit work with a 94 v6 conv is there a difference in anything other than maybe spring tension? I nask because I have a 94 v6 conv with a v8 swap so as far as I know its basically a gt vert and this kit offers the drop I'm looking for all other kits are to low wont the 70's muscle look with 275/50/17's on the rear

  • Hey Coryn, So this is considered for the v8 models because of the weight difference in the car and what the projected drop will be so if your v6 has had the v8 swap and is now essentially a GT it should work. The spring rate may vary because the weights still may differ but the kit should work

    Good all around suspension upgrade

I must say that the ride is not as stiff as I expected. It obviously is more stiff than stock not but jarring over moderate bumps. Good feal, good appearence, although I must say I have seen several sites advertise an "estimated" drop of around 1.5 inches. When the box arrived it said up to 40mm drop, but said usual drop is 30mm front 25mm rear. That is exactly what I got give or take a mm or 2. I expected more drop, so a little dissapointed it didn't come closer to the 1.5 as advertised. Regardless did get rid of some fender gap handles well and priced fairly. Just if you are wanting more drop than what I got I suggest going with maybe their sport line springs or another spring of your choice.
