    Panhard Bar

Great product but install is a bit of a pain. I would recommend two sets of hands to make it easier. As for removing the factory bar the driver side bolt is easy to remove but the passenger side was more of a pain for me. I had to first remove the linkage that connects from my car to my sway bar which is a 16mm bolt instead of the others being 18mm then I could get to the passenger side bolt. Once both bolts are removed the passenger side of the bar takes some time getting off. I suggest putting grease on the areas where you are putting your new bar into place to help make it go in easier and take your time and have a rubber mallet handy. Other than that the new panhard bar works great! Feel the power really getting planted to the ground and when I accelerate around corners my back end doesn't feel like it slides around anymore. I also have BMRs rear lower control arms.

    easy cheap and good looks

Even though it's non adjustable you can't beat the price. 2 bolts, good fitment and looks great. Requires a grease gun, 18 millimeter socket, and a mallet.

You can really feel the traction!

I have had some performance parts installed for traction and when i added this panhard bar, it really made my stang dig into the ground allot better. I would definatly upgrade this on any stang.

BMR Non-Adjustable Panhard Bar - Red (05-14 All)

Piece is well engineered and made. Welds are good with no slag. Powdercoat finish is smooth and blemish free. Bushings are slotted for even grease distribution. My car is not lowered so an adjustable panhard bar is not necessary. This is a good, low cost modification to a stock Mustang.

    Replacement Panhard Bar

I have a 2005 v6 mustang with around 65,000 miles and my stock panhard bar recently broke. It snapped directly in half for no reason. This BMR Non-adjustable panhard bar is intermediate at installing, definitely would help if you had a friend . Since you don't have to adjust it, you don't have to worry about the tire lining with the car. It aligned with the screw holes fairly well. The only problem was getting the holes to line up, we had to bang the bar into place but it wasn't a big setback. The handling felt just like the stock handling not much of a change. All in all it was a quick and easy replacement for the broke bar.

    A Real Pan-Hard Bar for stock-height GT's

The tightening of the rear of the GT as well as the control and stability added by this $100.00 piece was truly beyond my expectations. I am no stranger to suspension upgrades, it's really my specialty. If you are running your car at stock height this is one of the cheapest significant improvements you can make in controlling your back-end. It helps the ride and handling of the entire car of course. It also clearly reduces the dreaded wheel hop and adds to traction. Where it really shines is how it brings that rear-end in line quick around curves and off the line. Feels like it's pushing the car straight. I have a very tight front-end, due to upgrades so this was exactly what I needed to balance out in back. The bar is also grease-able and much stronger than the stock bar, (which you will likely find a bend in when you remove it). This is an upgrade worth making on any Mustang. Centering your axle and maintaining that center even under great pressure helps…well everything! I hope the manufacturers keep making parts of this caliber for the guys who believe deeply in maintaining the geometry and engineering of the car by keeping it at Stock Height and Angle. The sleeper will never disappoint! -SS Oh and the only hard part of the install was getting the bent stock pan-hard bar to release on the driver's side, otherwise the fit was great and the install…just minutes!

    Good bar, needs better QC

Got the bar to replace the weak stock bar. Figment was great and it looks great under the car. It appears to have solved some intermittent squeaking from the OEM bars bushings and resonance issues with the shot filling in the bar. Only complaint is that both grease fittings were straight, one was supposed to be angled (90 deg) for the drivers side. Wasn't a big deal, I just bought an angled one and swapped out but it was still a nuisance non the less.

    ABSOLUTELY A MUST!!

Upon receiving the Pan hard bar I have seen an improvement in handling when turning. It feels a lot tighter in my rear. It would be a good idea to grease up the area of installation as it may be a quite snug to get the pan hard bar up. A mallet is a great tool to have around. Always start by putting the left side (driver) in, and get the bolt in. Secondly, do so to the other side. It may not be a perfect fit, but a mallet will drive the bolt through. I am EXTREMELY glad that I purchased this bar rather then getting another stock bar. I am looking forward to purchasing BMR suspension pieces as they are lighter, stronger, and provide for a better ride.

    Stiffen Up Your Stang!!!

This BMR Panhard Bar is the real deal. The overall quality and workmanship that is apparent when you take this thing out of the box transfers over to the performance of your vehicle once it is installed on your stang. My ride feels more stable and there is alot less body roll and movement when taking curves and corners. The only reason I deduct a star is because there is no 90 degree grease fitting that is on this bar that allows the bushing to be serviced while it is on the car...however, by itself, it has improved the overall feel and stability of my GT, I would highly recommend.

    BMR

Only issue with this panhard bar was that it didn't come with a 90 degree grease fitting for the drivers side. You can either replace the fitting or drop the Panhard bar everytime you need to grease the bar. Can't access fitting when installed.

    Goodbye, Wheelhop!

One of the best $70 spent on this car so far. If you've already upgraded your rear upper control arm, and rear lower control arms, finish off the whole package with one of these! Great for those who never plan lowering their vehicle. When I did upper and lower control arms, I still had a very small amount of wheel hop in very slippery conditions that would simply drive me mad. After reading some reviews, I decided to pull the trigger on this. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! Don't wait, just go upgrade yours! The stock bar is total junk compared to this beauty. The stock bar literally sounded like it had sand inside of it (I have no idea, maybe it was rusting from the inside). Stock bushing are total garbage, but the bushings on these are perfect, and greasable to boot. Only issue was that one of the grease fittings was a straight fitting, not a 90 degree elbow, as specified. But no big deal, a quick trip to the parts store got that sorted out quickly (you need a 90 degree fitting on the driver's side so that you can actually access the fitting to grease the bushings). Excellent upgrade, thanks American Muscle!!
