Description
Improves Handling. Upgrade your Mustangs suspension to a BMR Panhard Rod to eliminate the unwanted flex and twist commonly found with the poorly designed factory panhard bar. The BMR Suspension Panhard Rod keeps the rear axle located in the optimum position under the rear of the car, dramatically improving traction, cornering and overall handling performance.

Tubular Construction. Made in the USA from 1.25" diameter heavy wall DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, this BMR Panhard Bar features spiral-fluted greasable polyurethane bushings. This BMR Panhard Bar is completed in a durable bright red powdercoat finish for great looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Greasable. This BMR Panhard Rod features greasable fittings that allow for easy on car maintenance of the highly durable energy suspension spiral-fluted polyurethane bushings.

Application. This BMR Suspension Non-Adjustable Red Panhard Rod is designed to fit all 2005-2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models.

    Replacement Panhard Bar

    I have a 2005 v6 mustang with around 65,000 miles and my stock panhard bar recently broke. It snapped directly in half for no reason. This BMR Non-adjustable panhard bar is intermediate at installing, definitely would help if you had a friend . Since you don't have to adjust it, you don't have to worry about the tire lining with the car. It aligned with the screw holes fairly well. The only problem was getting the holes to line up, we had to bang the bar into place but it wasn't a big setback. The handling felt just like the stock handling not much of a change. All in all it was a quick and easy replacement for the broke bar.

    A Real Pan-Hard Bar for stock-height GT's

    The tightening of the rear of the GT as well as the control and stability added by this $100.00 piece was truly beyond my expectations. I am no stranger to suspension upgrades, it's really my specialty. If you are running your car at stock height this is one of the cheapest significant improvements you can make in controlling your back-end. It helps the ride and handling of the entire car of course. It also clearly reduces the dreaded wheel hop and adds to traction. Where it really shines is how it brings that rear-end in line quick around curves and off the line. Feels like it's pushing the car straight. I have a very tight front-end, due to upgrades so this was exactly what I needed to balance out in back. The bar is also grease-able and much stronger than the stock bar, (which you will likely find a bend in when you remove it). This is an upgrade worth making on any Mustang. Centering your axle and maintaining that center even under great pressure helps…well everything! I hope the manufacturers keep making parts of this caliber for the guys who believe deeply in maintaining the geometry and engineering of the car by keeping it at Stock Height and Angle. The sleeper will never disappoint! -SS Oh and the only hard part of the install was getting the bent stock pan-hard bar to release on the driver's side, otherwise the fit was great and the install…just minutes!
