    • Non-Adjustable Design
    • Durable 1-5/8" Heavy Wall DOM Tubing

Improves Traction And Handling. If your looking to improve the traction and handling of your 2005-2010 Mustang you should upgrade to a BMR Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm. By replacing your original factory upper control arm you will see a reduction in wheel hop for improved traction and quicker launches, ensuring that you're getting all your ponies to the pavement.

Polyurethane Bushings. This BMR Upper Control Arm uses greaseable spiral fluted polyurethane bushings resulting in great traction during straight-line acceleration and predictable grip during hard cornering.

Tubular Construction. Made in the USA from TIG welded 1-5/8" diameter heavy wall .120 DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, this BMR Rear Upper Control Arm is completed in a durable bright red powder coat finish for great looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Recommended Upgrade. It is highly recommend to upgrade your stock upper control arm mounting bracket to a BMR Rear Upper Control Arm Mount when installing a BMR Rear Upper Control Arm on a S197 Mustang. Failure to do so may result in a loud clunking noise without the BMR Upper Control Arm Mount installed.

Application. The BMR Suspension Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm with Polyurethane Bushings is designed for all 2005 to 2010 Mustangs including the V6, GT, Bullitt, and Shelby GT500 models.

What causes the clunking noise when using the stock control arm mount?

    • Hello! It sounds like something has room to move around. I would check and re-tighten any loose bolts and make sure that there is no play for the control arm to move around.

Will this upper control arm work on my lowered 2006 GT mustang. (1.5 " lowered)

    • They will certainly work, however depending on how it feels you may need to purchase a new upper control arm mount in order to allow the control arm to regain 100% functionality to compensate for the different geometry now that the car is lowered. However, you can absolutely react accordingly/see if you really need it if you wanted to install the control arm without this first. Seems to be ok

Upgraded with this, Swat bars, Koni shocks and struts and a BMR panhard bar... Rides like a Boss, or so my mechanic said. Much tighter ride.

      Feels Tight!

2008 GT. Lowered about 1 inch with Ford Racing P springs, Billstein shocks and struts, Ford Racing GT500 front control arms, and Moog outer and OPR inner tie rods, with Moog sway bar links. The BMR upper and lower control arms, both non adjustable, plus the BMR differential bushing seems to work well, and makes the car feel even more planted. I don't feel the wheel hopping side to side anymore on hard accleration. The upper conrol arm and the differential bushing also got rid of this crazy loud clanking I was experiencing due a worn OEM differential bushing. Overall, it's a good buy. Cheaper than stock parts yet better performing. I'd recommend.

      Wheel hop.

It did just that and got rid of my wheel hop. Very well built but not very easy to install. Used a lift, screw jack to hold the pinion and a transmission jack to lower the fuel tank. Took maybe 90 minutes.

      High Quality

Very high quality part, bushings are strong, installation is a little difficult and be sure to purchase the recommended mounting bracket.

      Great quality product!

Little bit of a pain to put in with only floor jacks but definitely worth it!
