Description
Even More Power! The stock 4.6L Mustang came with an respectable 300 Horsepower and 320 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Ford Racing Supercharger you will be planting a ground pounding 550 Horsepower and 542 lb/ft of Torque to the pavement. That is 250 more horsepower over stock!

Complete Kit. This Ford Racing Mustang Supercharger System comes with all the required parts needed to upgrade your Steed to a fire breathing Beast. The kit features an Air-to-Water Inter Cooler, Intake manifold, 32 lb/hr high-impedance fuel injectors, and a Ford Racing ProCal tool (voucher) with performance calibration for significantly improved throttle response and performance feel.

50 State Legal. Unlike the competitors, all Ford Racing Power Upgrade Packages are 50 state emissions legal.

Application. This Black Ford Racing Supercharger System is designed for use on the 2005 to 2010 4.6L GT Mustangs with a manual transmission. Choose your year from the drop down option above.

Technical Note. Due to multiple power-train calibrations, online registration (with Ford Racing) is required to receive the ProCal calibration delivery tool after purchase.

What additional item will I have to buy? First of all, will I need to upgrade my internal parts, on my gt, to forged parts? Second, what accsesories will I have to get? Do aftermarket CAI's work with this? I want to buy a S/C in the future, and was thinking of getting the Steeda CAI w/ SF3 tuner now. Are they compatible and will they fit under the stock hood? What additional mods do I need to buy to? And will these upgrades void my warranty? Thanks

  • If you are going to be buying the Ford Supercharger then DO NOT buy a CAI and tune as it will not work with the Supercharger which is sold as a kit with the tune and a CAI.

I have the Steeda underdrive pullies...Can I use them with this s/c? Can I use this s/c with steeda underdrive pullies? Will the bigger water pump pulley rub? Do I need a different belt?

  • No, you will want to swap back to your stock pullies. Having underdrive pullies will change the boost pressures, Giving you less boost at a specific RPM.

    This kit combined with a set of Kooks long tube headers, catted H-pipe, and MAgnaflow Magnapac 3" exhuast, and a custom tune from Pro-Dyno gave me a whopping 535hp, and 531 lb. ft. of tourque at the tire on the stock bottom end. Throttle responce is amazing, as the boost is instantaneous off idle. It is so much fun having all that power at my disposal.

    You get what U pay for. Whipple & FRPP The Best!!

    Well I started with cold air intake with tune then 125 shot of Nitro with VMP tune but if I had to do it all over again I say go straight for the blower. I did not know which to get at first. It was between ProCharger or Whipple. I went with Whipple cause if its good enough for FORD it is good enough for me. Even Mercedes AMG has used Twin screw blowers. This kit has everything u need from soup to nuts as they say. I had a shop install it in two days. The car was first returned to stock completely with stock H pipe with cats so the Ford Racing tune could work as intended. The results are 472 hp and 427 torque at the wheels. Estimated hp as advertised is 548 at the Crank. I added the FR500S mufflers from FRPP for sound and I have been enjoying the ride ever since. American Muscle does a great job as always and the Tech support at Ford Racing is excellent. If u like safety for your motor go with this kit. If u like to test the limits of your motor go with another option instead. Don't hesitate you will be glad u got this Blower!

    550+ HORSEPOWER!

    I recently made a purchase on a 06 mustang gt with this supercharger kit already installed on it. I have driven a v6 with about 200, horsepower before this so it takes some getting used too. Your always "on ice" with this much power to be careful about how much throttle you put in. Any gear, any rmp you will be sucked in your seat and the supercharger whine never gets old or annoying like I thought it would. I have a video here with my Kooks headers, ford racing exhaust, supercharger whine and 3,500 rmp revs. First gear is too much power, and even in second you will burn out at 1,000 rmp if you floor it. Without poping the clutch in first (just flooring it) your tires will spin at 1,500 rmp. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE1bisk_uPY

    i installed this kit myself and it took me two days. the performance is just great, and you cant beat the whine. i love this kit and its very easy to install. worth the cost.
