      Description

      Give your Mustang Big Power. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit in a satin finish is a bolt on kit for your Mustang that will give it the extra gallop you need for your pony. This V-2, built specifically for 2-valve 4.6 SOHC engine, boosting your Mustang with a 104 horsepower gain over stock trim and wrings out an extra 69 ft/lbs of torque.

      V-2 Head unit Features. These power gains are achieved on a low boost level of 7.50-8.50 psi increasing your engine's longevity. The V-2 is capable of a maximum boost level of 26 psi flowing 1,400 cfm. This V-2 is much more efficient than its root-style counterparts and utilizes the stock throttle body for easy bolt-on application. Drivability is maintained by a high-flow bypass valve which also provides surge-free compression operation. The unit will also have an oil feed and drain which deliveries the best possible lubrication and cooling for the Supercharger. This is preferred for sustained boost conditions.

      Fit and Finish. This Satin V-2 gives you the choice of using the OEM airbox or an aftermarket conical style filter, both utilize the MAF inlet assembly. The V-2 mounts up to your engine with OEM style aluminum mounting brackets.

      Straight Forward Installation. Installation of the centrifugal supercharger will take the better part of a day. The mounting brackets, hardware, idlers and drive belt for the V-2 is included in the package. Tools required for the job include: a ratchet set, wrenches and various other hand tools. The fuel management system and tuning which are sold separately will be required to complete the installation.

      3-Year Powertrain Warranty. This satin colored supercharger is offered with an optional 3 year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty and a lifetime structural warranty covering factory defects.

      Tuner Kit. Tuner Kits include the Supercharger Head Unit, piping, mounting bracketry and parts required for basic installation. Tuner Kits do not include fuel components, electronic components, programmer or calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.

      Application. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit in a satin finish fits all 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GTs.

      Tech Note. This tuner kit requires custom tuning and fuel components for optimal functionality.
