    More Horsepower! The stock GT Mustang came with a decent 260 Horsepower and 302 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installation a ProCharger-equipped 4.6L GT Mustang can make 60-70% more horsepower at the flywheel. Thanks to the industry's coolest charge air temperatures, the unmatched power gains are delivered with maximum reliability and everyday drivability.

    High Capacity Intercooler. If you have the desire to continue modding your Mustang even after adding a ProCharger Supercharger, then this is the Kit for you. The 3-core air-to-air intercooler included with the Stage II Kit has a higher capacity than the High Output (HO) Kit. This Stage II kit will accommodate additional modifications as you continue to transform your Mustang into the highest horsepower beast possible.

    Supercharger Kit. The ProCharger Stage II Intercooled System comes 100% complete, and includes ProCharger self-contained supercharger, air-to-air intercooler, intercooler tubing, brackets, 39 lb/hr fuel injectors and ProFlow bypass valve.

    CARB Certified. Best of all this ProCharger High Output Intercooled Supercharger System is 50-state smog legal under CARB EO # D-365-5.

    Application. This ProCharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 1999 to 2004 GT and Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the 2 valve 4.6L modular engine.

    Technical Note. This Complete Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Procharger will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket axle-back and cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Procharger will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. For modified vehicles, it would be best to purchase a Tuner Supercharger Kit so you can have a local Dyno Shop custom tune your vehicle with your aftermarket upgrades.

    Should I get my engine rebuilt before installing this? I have a 2001 GT, it's got 134,000 miles on it but theres nothing wrong with it and it hasn't been driven hard. Would it be a good idea to get my engine rebuilt first?

    • I think that you should probably have a few things checked like compression in the cylinders and a leak down test to see what condition the valves and guides are in.If there is a weak spot the super charger will find it. The rings and rod bearings take the brunt of the increased force as does the head gasket. If your engine is as tight as you say it is you may be ok. But check to be sure.

    supercharger do i need to remove my underdrive pulleys and go back to stock To install this supercharger

    • Absolutely! The underdrive is a plus when NA. But, when SC the UDPs are a negative as the blower spins slower. Plus the tune included is assuming that at a certain RPM and the provided pulley on the SC you are making at an approximate boost level. Also, the included belt assumes a stock engine damper/pulley. Put the stock pulley back on and sell your UDPs on Ebay. That's what I did when i went FI. By the way you will LOVE this centri blower. Makes boost linearly and is very easy to control vs the roots type. Easier on the internals. Better mileage, too. Good luck on your choice!

    What happens if i already have a NOS kit? I have a 2002 GT, the engine is still pretty much new (only 30,000 miles on it).Will it be possible to use both the procharger and the NOS? Will I have to buy any extra parts so my car can handle all that HP? I'm not sure if that much pressure will damage my engine (still want to use her as my daily drive) or will I have to do something to my back axle to handle the HP?

    • Nitrous Oxide can be used in forced induction systems to further cool the air in the intake track. It will depend on the amount of boost and the shot of nitrous you plan to use, and that would be something that will also depend on the supporting modifications on your vehicle. We would highly recommend speaking to your tuner regarding your specific application for details.

      POWER!

      This is a very involved install. Make sure you follow the directions to the letter. From taking your gas tank out to change the fuel pump to cutting and grinding to make things fit. Had a great time working through the install with the old man. At the end of the day it was totally worth the time and effort. This kit really makes the 2 valve come alive. I couldn't imagine running with out it. From the sound to the power it makes. Getting some serious smiles per gallon.

      Simply AMAZING!!!

      I LOVE my Procharger on my 2002 Mustang GT! Putting down 412 RWHP and 419 FT LBS of torque on a moderate tune right now I couldn't be happier! Installation was a huge pain In my butt lol there was plenty of blood sweat tears and swear words involved, but it was so much more worth it in the end! The tune that it comes with from diablosport does run a little bit lean, so I would make sure before you buy the kit that you can take it up to have it Dyno tuned soon after the install. Also, the fuel pump that is included in this kit is a little bit better than the stock pump, but it still does not do the job that is required from the 39# injectors that come in the kit as well. So buy a Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump to make sure that the engine is getting the required ammount of fuel it needs. ALSO, the kit isn't just drop in and go. At least on my car, there were some very tight fits that needed to be grinded down or cut off, etc. it's not a very easy job! Just keep that in mind. But overall, I seriously could not be happier! Totally worth the money, and I wiould defiantly recommend it to anybody looking to boost their New Edge GT.

      proCharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System

      i installed this procharger my self there was a few unessesary words involved but i got her in and boy did i not regret it. this procharger really have me a diffrence lets just say it made my dream come true to have a 9.6 second car.
