Description
Boosts Mustang GT Engine Output. Get your “New Edge” fourth-gen Mustang GT quicker off the starting block with the Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger – Complete Kit – Polished. It’s engineered to make your 4.6L V8 even more powerful: boosting it from 260 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque to 364 horsepower and 371 lb-ft of torque. That’s an amazing increase of 104 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque. Who doesn’t want that?
Includes Internal Lubrication and Fuel Management Upgrade. As a V-3 supercharger, this system includes oil feed and oil drain assemblies to deliver the best possible lubrication. With minimized friction and smoother movement of parts, the supercharger helps in keeping the engine compartment cool and ensuring optimal performance from the engine itself. Also included (as a complete kit) are a fuel pump, fuel injectors, and an EDM chip to improve fuel flow.
Covered by Three-Year Limited Warranty. Vortech warranties this kit for a period of three years after the purchase date for any defects regarding its material and workmanship.
Expert-Level Installation. This supercharger comes with all the hardware required for installation. Expect more than six hours to get that done. With all the parts involved and the several man-hours it demands, the process is rated at an expert level of mechanical skill.
Application. The Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger – Complete Kit – Polished fits all 1999–2004 Ford Mustang GT models. Shipped with a polished finish, it is sold as a kit.
Technical Note. This Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Vortech will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Vortech will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. Modified cars will require custom tuning. Also vehicles with ECU codes of RKN or MDE will not be supported by Vortech, custom tuning will be required for operation.
Please Note. Vortech Supercharger System are built to order by Vortech for our customers. Because of this there can be a 5 to 7 day lead time on orders.
