The stock 1986 to 1993 5.0L Mustangs came with a decent 225 Horsepower and 275 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Vortech Street Boost System you will be planting a ground pounding 275 Horsepower and 344 lb/ft of Torque to the pavement. That is 50 more horsepower over stock!

Complete Kit. This Vortech Mustang Street Boost Supercharger System comes with the fuel management unit and all the required parts needed to upgrade your pony to a snarling beast.

The Entry Level (5-6psi) Fox Body Mustang systems utilize Vortech's V-3 SCi supercharger. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the V-3 SCi. The "i" stands for improved and with its new patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage this V-3 literally blows away the competition. Industry leading adiabatic efficiency [SAE J1723 standard] means less heat is being generated, drive power is reduced and more net power is produced. Less heat also means better durability.

Systems that include the V-3 internally lubricated supercharger do not require a connection between the oil pan and gearcase (V-1 and V-2 systems are engine oil fed and require oil lines).

CARB Compliance. Complete systems are smog legal per California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order # D-213-37

Application. This Satin Vortech Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 1986-1993 5.0L V8 LX or GT Mustangs.
