Eliminate Body Flex. Eliminate unwanted chassis flex and body roll in your SN95 Mustang with an SR Performance Strut Tower Brace for improved handling. This SR Performance Strut Tower Brace was designed to fit both the GT and V6 Mustangs.

Superior Construction. Made from super strong steel tubing to keep your front end from flexing under the torque of your motor this SR Performance Strut Tower Brace is completed with a bright chrome finish for great under hood looks and durability.

Easy Bolt-on Installation. A SR Performance Strut Tower Brace is a simple bolt-on suspension upgrade that clears the factory intake manifold and is easily installed with basic hand tools.

Application. This SR Performance Chrome Mustang Strut Tower Brace is designed to fit the 1994 to 2004 V6 and GT Ford Mustangs. It will not fit Mach 1, Bullitts or SVT Cobra Mustangs.

Hey everyone I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m taking a look at a very underrated part that will drastically improve your rides handling all while taking it easy on your wallet. I’m referring to the Strut Tower Braces available in black and chrome for all 94-04 Mustangs. Strut tower braces are great for a couple of different reasons, the first and most obvious plus is the fact that they reduce unwanted chasse flex which simply mean that your ride is going to handle a little better. A byproduct of the bar is it really adds to the under hood styling of your ride especially if you opt for the show worthy chrome finish here in front of me, or if you like to keep things sleek and under the radar in your hood then you might want to opt for our powder coated black finish shown behind me on our 98 GT. These bars are constructed from ultra-strong tubular steel which help keep the front end from flexing while the under load throughout turns. These bars also feature a mounting point on the firewall that really helps the front end to feel a lot more solid. So while these options may not be as flashy as our other strut bars, this brace is all business. This bar does require a small amount of work to get everything installed properly you will need to remove your windshield wipers and the upper cal panel just so you can access the bolts connecting this brace to the firewall. In addition to that you will need to drill into your strut towers as well. Well I know this sounds a little daunting, don’t worry, as long as you follow the detailed instructions on this page you should be all wrapped up in about 2 hours. Any knowledgeable car enthusiast will tell you that a good performance suspension is a sum of all its parts with that in mind will this bar help you turn over a g in the skid pad alone? Probably not, but it will tighten things up dramatically and it will look great under the hood while doing so.

94 gt: will this fit a gt40 intake manifold swap I have a 94 mustang gt and I am looking at swapping to a gt40 intake manifold. I don't think my stock strut tower brace has the clearance but will this SR strut tower brace? Thank you for your response...

    Awesome

    I was not expecting much from a 100 dollar investment into the handling aspect of my car. I thought maybe it would be a little smoother on corners, but that's it. Installation took about 2 hours and wasn't too difficult, but dang was I impressed. I never realized how poorly my car handled around curves until I installed the strut tower brace. With just this the body roll I experienced going around curves was greatly reduced and I can go anywhere from 10-20mph faster around curves. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and I recommend it as a must have for anyone that wants to improve the handling of their Mustang!

    strut tower sway bar

    did not fit I returned it. the brace was tight to the strut tower and it was about one inch away from the fire wall poor fitting.

    strut tower brace install challenges

    This strut tower brace came with no instructions. I found installation instructions at American Muscle website. Instructions failed to mention that the screws attaching the bottoms of the A-pillar covers need to be removed to facilitate removing the black plastic cowl cover (allows the bottoms to be pulled out about 1/4"). I broke mine trying to remove it and discovered the missing step in the instructions provided by Ford with my replacement panel. Expensive mistake. Cowl panel cost more than the strut tower brace.

    Defective Product Doesn't Fit

    I was excited upon the arrival of my strut tower brace from sr performance, but when I went to install it it did not got properly. The end of the brace did not reach the firewall, and to get it to fit I had to bend out the two mounting brackets for the strut towers. If this was just a defective product then Sr performance should up their quality control otherwise I would not recommend this product.

    chrome strut tower brace

    I had my mechanic install it because I do not do alot of stuff I used to do because of a serious illness I am recovering from My mechanics are young serious motorheads who do it all including my motorcycle They did a great job Took them about a hour It looks great I like the chrome better than the black It goes better with the cold air intake Good stuff guys keep up the good work Ritchie

    better than expected

    this product was great....fitment was great, sat right on its place.......took me and a buddy of mine about 45min to an hour over all........car is parked for the winter so no word on the performance gains as in now

    Noticable increase in front suspension firmness

    I had to bend the flanges at the shock mounts to creat a better fit before drilling and bolting on the brace. I could feed a big difference right away in the firmness of the front suspension after the brace was installed. It was a good bang for my buck. It will improve handling during track events.

    The bar looks and fits very well. You have to drill holes to install it so I suggest a shop put it in for you

    strut brace

    This strut brace is very nice chrome and does improve the handling for sure. Takes a little while to install but not bad at all doing yourself. As always cant beat AM great price, product and fast delivery.
