Description
More Power. Add additional horsepower and improve the throttle response of your worked or supercharged Mustang GT with a Accufab 75mm Throttle Body. 75MM Throttle Body. Perfect for heavily modified or supercharged Mustangs, this generously sized Accufab 75mm throttle body opens up the intake flow to give your engine the air it needs to make more power. Not intended for stock and mildly modified GT's as they do not flow enough air to benefit from the larger 75mm Throttle Body.

Premium Quality. Accufab throttle bodies are precision CNC machined from high quality 356 billet aluminum and are polished to a brilliant, mirror-quality finish. This throttle body is built to perform flawlessly.

Application. This Accufab 75mm Throttle Body is designed as a direct bolt on for use on the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs equipped with the SOHC 4.6L V8.

Technical Notes. Idle Speed should only be set by adjusting the Throttle Position Sensor. DO NOT adjust any screws on the Throttle Body. These screws are pre-set at Accufab.

    70mm or 75mm?

    After buying this beautiful throttle body, I can easily answer this undying question. Go 75! My 2002 GT has a few bolt-ons and runs like it has never ran before! I am currently running a stock MAF with My stock 19lbs injectors (yellow tops) and have ZERO issues with my air to fuel ratio. I matched this Accufab 75mm with the c&l plenum and it has done wonders to My throttle response and top-end power. Though this did not require a tune, it sure doesnt hurt to get one. FYI: Bama tunes are legit ;) Another side note is around 2500-3200 rpm you get a very nice hissing sound from your intake. Hope this helps and thank you again guys and gals of American Muscle!

    Perfect Fit and Flawless installation

    Installation was simple and went on without any complications at all. I installed the C & L upper plenum along with the 75 mm Accufab tb and they compliment eachother extremely well. I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Accufab and didnt want to risk going with a cheaper one, or smaller, and regretting it later. Looks great, sounds awesome, and performs extremely well. Changed exhaust note a little bit in a good way. I would recommend this product to anyone with at least catback exhaust done due to the fact i dont know how a mustang would respond otherwise. I didnt experience any idle problems or bogging, which ive heard can happen, and my stang is N/A bone stock. Bottom end is the same, however, top end pulls harder from 4k to 6k rpm. The computer took a max of 3 drive cycles to really adapt to the increased amount of incoming air. Bottom line: im stoked and highly recommend this product

    If you have the airflow get the 75mm

    May 30, 2010

    Just switched from a 70mm to a 75mm. Added a deeper slightly louder tone to the exhaust. I switched to a 75mm because I swapped my cams, heads and intake. Dyno results were 295 RWHP. The car will be on the dyno again because I will soon be swapping the short tubes for longtubes and I will post the HP increase.

    Given all the money I have spent on this car as the original owner, one area of neglect was a properly sized TB for the 10psi of intercooled boost of the 1.7L Kenne Bell. The quality, fit and finish of the Accufab is outstanding! I was concerned about potential idle issues, but it ran perfect out of the box using the stock Ford TPS from my 70mm, and settled right in at 650-700 rpm with the IAC disconnected as it should. Full throttle performance has definately improved in the mid- upper range and I wish I did this sooner but grinning happy now.

    Quality Product

    I had previously installed the Accufab 70mm Throttle Body on my 2004 Mustang GT along with a Cold Air Intake. The quality and fit was excellent with a noticeable performance gain. Since then I have added a Saleen supercharger and was happy enough with the 70mm that I upgraded to the 75mm of the same thing. It works flawlessly and fits like a glove.

    White 2001 GT Mustang

    I was very impressed with the design and construction of the Accufab Throttle Body! The installation took me about 35 minutes, very simple install. I currently have a C & L Upper Pelnum and it fit perfectlly with the C & L Pelnum. I am currently dressing up my engine, so the shiny crome throttle body makes my engine compartment look sweet. Now in reegards to the performance aspect of the throttle body, read some reviews saying they "don't recommend" upgrading to a (75mm) throttle body unless you have a supercharger or upgraded heads and cams on your engine, because it "will not" increase the performance of your lightly modified V-8 SHOC engine, but my mechanic and some of the people who's reviews stated it would not increase the horsepower are wrong! After the install I started my engine and noticed a nice raspy growl on my stock catback muffler system, now that raspy growl is not loud, but it is much louder sounding now then it was before. I also upgraded to a Basani High-Flow X-Pipe recently, just before the install of my new 75 mm throttle body. I always like to do lots of research before upgrading a part on my 2001 Mustang GT, read the reviews, as well as read any reviews on performance part websites, such as Dyno testing, then I will make my final decision. Noiw I reviewed the C & L website in regards to what size throttle body should be used with the C & L Pelnum to maxmize the performance of your worked Mustang. They recommend using a 75 mm throttle body, so after reading the reviews and looking at the their Dyno charts, using a 75 mm throttle body is "the best choice" in my opinion! Basically your engine is a big "air-pump" so increasing the airflow will not only give you better gas mileage, but also increase your horsepower and thats the goal! I have not noticed a hissing sound like one review stated, which happens between 2500-3200 RPMs, but have "not" reached that higher RPMS as of yet, as soon as I do will update everyone if I experienced that. The car does pull harder, does have a little more horsepower, maybe around 2-4 horsepower increase over the 70 mm throttle body. I have the Airaid Cold Air Intake, which is a awesome cold intake system in my opinion. So I am very happy with this upgrade. I cant afford a supercharger at this moment in time, so these minor upgrades have shown an increase increase in horsepower in my 01 Mustang GT. Finally the quaility of this throttle body beats the rest, even BBK thottle bodies. My old 70 mm throttle body was a BBK, and was happy with that purchase, but Accufab is #1, BBK is #2 in my opinion.

    Won't Disappoint.............

    This bad boy works absolutely as advertised ! Installation is less than an hour if you are already into your engine. Otherwise allow a few hours for installation. You can expect a noticeable improvement in throttle response and it looks great too! This is one bolt on I deffinatly don't regret. And recommend it too anyone with the need for more CFM.
