More Air for Powerful Engines. If you have a built or supercharged 1986 - 1993 5.0 Mustang - or are planning on big cam, heads, or forced induction down the line - your stock 58mm or 60mm stock throttle body is going to choke your engine. Accufab's top of the line CNC machined 75mm billet aluminum throttle body and 2" EGR spacer kit is what you need to insure proper airflow and get the maximum performance from your upgrades.

Exceptional Quality. CNC machining of billet aluminum, combined with stainless steel shafts, insures that Accufab's product is a quality piece that will last and perform. Manufacturered with only the best components, this 75mm throttle body and spacer deliver unparalleled reliability and performance.

Feel the Power. More air means more power from both existing and future modifications. With this kit, you'll bolt on more ponies in minutes and increase your throttle response. If you are planning on an aggressively modified 5.0, but want to keep it street legal, this throttle body is the perfect compliment to both the mods you have and the ones you want to do.

NOTE: A 75MM Throttle Body is suggested for a built or supercharged 5.0. If you have a stock or mildly modified 5.0, consider Accufab's 70mm kit with EGR spacer, as your Mustang will not benefit from the larger throttle body.

NOTE: Idle Speed should only be set by adjusting the Throttle Position Sensor. DO NOT adjust any screws on the Throttle Body. These screws are pre-set at Accufab.

NOTE: Though a tune is not required after installation, you may experience some minor irregularities at idle. AmericanMuscle recommends a tune after installing any throttle body in your 5.0.

Very well constructed, the TB and EGR spacer are like art. So much so you may not want get it dirty by installing it on your engine. Plus its nice to get something that is American made. That being said, despite the tag that came attached to the throttle body, and the warning on AM's site. I did have to adjust the idle screw. I was having a lot of drive ability problems with my new combo that I installed it on. I eventually discovered that the throttle blade was too far closed and the IAC valve was at 100% duty cycle all the time. Once I did a base idle reset it has been fine ever since. The other problem is I have "the whistle". It show up when I have the accelerator depressed between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle. No real performance detriment, just really annoying.Overall I would buy it again.
