  • I am running the KYB AGX's on all four corners of my car, and these are by far the best shocks and struts on the market! Compared to the Koni's, they adjust way easier and you actually notice a difference in the ride with each setting. They also have a really nice ride quality to them.

Love the shocks, but the instructions sucked

    June 08, 2011

The shocks are great. So much better than stock. The adjustable settings are very easy to use. They are firm for handling, but can be super soft for the track. However, the instructions that came with the kit sucked. The nut it comes with is too tall to hold the shaft in place to tighten with a cresent and wrench, so I had to mod the bushings. Oh well, would have been useful to have instructions that didn't have 50 languages on one page with microscopic pictures.

    I recommend these shocks!

    December 09, 2011

These shocks improved the ride quality drastically compared to old stock shocks. They were easy to install and it only took me about 20 minutes to install. I love the fact that I can adjust them from soft to firm is a plus.

    Outstanding ride and handling improvement

    March 20, 2014

Really researched these, and additionally purchased the front struts. My 97 Cobra is supercharged and lowered. Very noticeable ride improvement, and the adjustability really works. Remember that this product adjusts only compression, and that rebound remains the same. Easy to adjust at the strip or a track day, and makes the car much more "tune-able". I recommend you also purchase the KYB quad shocks to complete the set. KYB is a more affordable product, but provides both adjustability and good after-market looks. These are top notch on my car, and I highly recommend them.

    Great quality!

    April 12, 2012

Not only are these shocks decently priced, but they feel like they are quality built when compared to Bilstien or Tokiko shocks. These are great for the beginning of your suspension modifications and the quality of these will not disappoint. Also the adjustment knobs are fun to play with.

    Bushings do not fit

    September 29, 2011

I bought these to help give me a smooth ride when I wanted and a stiffer one when I had passengers in the back so the rear end wouldn't bottom out just leaving the driveway. Great product. Instructions were no help as they only had pictures and no written guide. Also, the bushings that came with them do not fit through the whole in the tower. You'll most likely have to cut them down to fit if u want to use these shocks. Minimal thread on the stem.

    Great shocks for the price

    March 23, 2008

Have to love these KYB AGX shocks. The price from American Muscle was good and the free shipping made it that much better. Install labor time was fast since there were no real surprises. Just remember the nuts are a different size from stock up top. Settings are from mild 1 to wild 8.
