Performance Upgrade. Built with advanced engineering, the KYB AGX Adjustable Rear Shock features velocity-sensitive valving that gives you a comfortable ride under normal driving conditions, but automatically firms up as the driving conditions become more serious. Making this KYB adjustable shock the perfect performance upgrade for superior ride quality and handling.

Fully Adjustable. AGX gas shocks are fully adjustable allowing you to tune the damping for your specific driving conditions, whether it is for street, strip or the track. Simply turn the slot on the top of the piston rod with a screwdriver to adjust, all without having to remove any parts or lifting the vehicle.

Application. This KYB AGX Adjustable Rear Shock is designed for use on the 1994 to 2004 Mustang, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994 to 1998 SVT Cobra. It does not fit the 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobra models with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Sold individually.

These shocks improved the ride quality drastically compared to old stock shocks. They were easy to install and it only took me about 20 minutes to install. I love the fact that I can adjust them from soft to firm is a plus.

The shocks are great. So much better than stock. The adjustable settings are very easy to use. They are firm for handling, but can be super soft for the track. However, the instructions that came with the kit sucked. The nut it comes with is too tall to hold the shaft in place to tighten with a cresent and wrench, so I had to mod the bushings. Oh well, would have been useful to have instructions that didn't have 50 languages on one page with microscopic pictures.

Have to love these KYB AGX shocks. The price from American Muscle was good and the free shipping made it that much better. Install labor time was fast since there were no real surprises. Just remember the nuts are a different size from stock up top. Settings are from mild 1 to wild 8.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
