Better Shifts. Tighten up the feel of your S197's sloppy stock gearbox and get better, faster, more precise shifter feel with the Steeda Sport Shifter. Make missed shifts a thing of the past and enjoy driving your Mustang more as you're flying through the gears with this must-have mod.

Adjustable Stops. Unlike other similar products, Steeda's sport shifter includes adjustable shifter stops to prevent transmission damage in the event of over-extension of the shift handle.

Legendary Steeda Quality. Steeda's sport shifter features a nickel-plated lever for superior durability and long life.

Application. The Steeda Sport Shifter is designed for 2005 to 2010 Mustang GT or V6 with the T-5 or TR-3650 manual transmissions. Shift Knob not included.

Tech note. Disassembly of stock shifter required for installation.

Technical Note: Compatible with stock GT shift knob; stock knob is not threaded but has a nylon insert which grabs the threads when twisted on. Bullitt models will require a new 12mm x 1.75 threaded shift knob, as the stock Bullitt Knob has an incompatible 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern.

Took a while to install and figure it out with my friend but we got it! Compared to stock, this shifter makes short, precise shifts. Not only does it effectively decrease time between shifts but VASTLY improves driving experience! Should be one of your first mods, total improvement over stock

A great value for much shorter, cleaner, crisper, throws. I cant' wait to try it out at the track and shave a couple of tenths of a second off my ET! Don't waste your money buying a shifter for $260.00 dollars and up. You can buy this kit and have it installed for less than what you would pay for a more expensive shifter.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
