More Usable Horsepower. With a JLT Performance Cold Air Intake installed under the hood of your Mach 1 you will see dyno-proven gains of up to 14 rwhp and 19 rwtq. In addition to an increase in horsepower you will also see an impressive improvement in throttle response.

Fender Well Induction. This JLT Cold Air Intake is designed to draw in cold air from the fender well, rather than the hot engine compartment. Which reduces the incoming air temperature for better combustion resulting in more horsepower.

Money Saving Reusable Filter. JLT cold air intake kits come complete with a high flow reusable S&B brand air filter. So that means there is no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Now you can just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

Easy Installation. The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake kit was designed to install with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation.

Application. This JLT Performance Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed for use on the 2003 to 2004 Mach 1 Mustangs equipped with the DOHC 4.6L V8 engine and does not require re-tuning the vehicles computer for operation.

Technical Note. The stock factory Shaker system is not functional with this JLT kit and will not fit with a strut tower brace.

I had great hopes for this intake but the installation was terrible. I needed to take the wire loom apart and free up as much wire as I could then re-route it and re-tape the loom itself after all that the MAF wire harness connector still will barely reach the sensor itself.Had to take off the wheel and inner fenderwell just to get access to install the filter. After it was installed it rubs on the valve cover and rattles occaionally. Overall it was a pain to install, it does seem to provide some modest horsepower and throttle response increase however.

First off, I would like to say that AM is a top of the line Mustang performance parts provider and this one instance will not effect whether I buy from AM again. However, this intake is junk! Not one part of this thing fits correctly. It rubs on the valve cover, the shock tower, and when you drive over a bump, the filter rattles against your fender! Also, the MAF harness sensor plug in barely reaches down into the fender(would it hurt to make an extension and charge another 5 bucks?) Noticed no gain going from a drop in K&N filter to this fender mount CAI. I wasted $220...

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
