More Usable Horsepower. With a JLT Performance Cold Air Intake and a custom tune installed in your 2005 to 2009 V6 you can expect to see average gains of 10 to 14 more horsepower at the rear wheels. In addition to an increase in horsepower you will also see an impressive improvement in throttle response.

Money Saving Reusable Filter. JLT cold air intake kits come complete with a high flow reusable S&B brand air filter. So that means there is no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Now you can just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

Easy Installation. The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake kit was designed to install with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation.

Application. This JLT Performance Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed for use on the 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustangs equipped with the 4.0L V6 engine and requires re-tuning the vehicles computer for operation.

Technical Note: The use of a SCT SF3/X3 PowerFlash or SCT LiveWire tuner is required to reprogram the vehicles computer for this Cold Air Intake.

Hands down, the best thing that can be done to a bone stock S197. Really amazing how well it works. Tunning required is a snap.AM provided my tune before I even received the product which is usually next day for me.They were great with the product and shipping but even better with the tune. Completely different car A++++++!

A great first step to more power. Install was really pretty easy and took under 30 min, and I DON'T work on cars! I started with an SCT tuner, and that was a great improvement to my v6. Then months later I put this JLT CAI, with a tune, and what a difference. Better acceleration, throttle response, and sound. Nice hiss sound when throttled. And the rpm/speedometer was extended which gave me a longer powerband per gear. A great purchase! The one thing I notice is that my gas mileage has dropped a bit, but it could be due to more aggressive driving...

Wow! At first i thought there was an air leak in one of the hoses when i installed the product, but no! it was the actual CAI sucking up air! that thing is loud! and you can actually feel the difference!

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
