        Improves Horsepower. The K&N "Fuel Injection Performance Kit" (FIPK for short) Air Intake kit completely replaces your stock 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 Mustangs restrictive factory air box and paper filter with a high flow K&N filter assembly and intake tube for a noticeable increase in horsepower and acceleration while still providing excellent filtration.

        Filters out harmful contaminants. The supplied K&N Filter successfully filter's out harmful contaminants with it's unique layered design. K&N Air Filters are made up of layers of specially treated cotton gauze that are sandwiched between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens for durability. K&N uses a specially formulated grade of oil to treat the cotton gauze layers which causes a tackiness throughout the cotton's microscopic strands creating a powerful filtering media that ensures engine protection.

        CARB Certified. Best of all this K&N Mustang Air Intake Kit is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO# D-269-37.

        Straight Forward Installation. Installing the K&N Air Intake Kit on a 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 is simple and straight forward using commonly available basic hand tools, with no extra modifications or computer retuning required for proper installation.

          GREAT BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

          THIS WAS A GREAT PURCHASE, I WISH I BOUGHT THIS AIR INTAKE FIRST RATHER THAN WASTE MONEY ON OTHER INTAKES THAT WOULD ONLY WORK IF YOU DID NOT REINSTALL THE STRUT TOWER BRACE BAR.

          Well worth the time and money

          Simple to install, took me less than an hour. Great power gains that are defiantly noticeable. You can also really hear the air going through the filter. Added a little more tone to my exhaust as well. Another great product offered by AM!!

          Performance without a doubt

          The K & N Filter was a great investment for my Ford Mustang GT 500. It took me and a friend just under an hour to install and the first thing I instantly noticed was the performance my vehicle gained. Another benefit that means everything to vehicle owners when showing their vehicles at car shows is the appearance of the K & N under the hood. This adds detail to the engine compartment that looks better than factory. I also wanted to mention thanks for the better fuel economy with the prices of Premium Gas.

          K&N Mustang FIPK Air Intake for 2007 GT 500

          I installed the K&N cold air intake about 6 months ago in my 2007 GT 500. Definate increase in power and better gas mileage. This is the 3rd K&N cold air intake I installed in my mustangs and am very happy with the results. Installation was a bit tougher for the gt 500 but with a little conviencing it fit. Before even considerin g which cold air intake to install I researched all competitive brands and found K&N to be my choice and have been very happy with the results.
