Stainless Steel Heat Shield. Steeda knows that hot air is bad for combustion. That's why they have included a heat shield made from 304 stainless steel to reduce the intake temperature to within 5-10 degrees of the ambient air for more horsepower.

Application. This Steeda High-Flow Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed for use on the 2003 to 2004 SVT Cobra equipped with the supercharged DOHC 4.6L V8 engine and does not require re-tuning the vehicles computer for operation.
