More Rear Wheel Power. By simply installing the Steeda Cold Air Intake Kit in place of the restrictive stock factory air box you can see impressive gains of 10 to 12 horsepower at the rear wheels and an improvement in throttle response all with no computer retuning required.

Reusable High Flow Air Filter. The included Steeda dual cone air filter has more surface area than competitors single cone filters to allow your Pony to breath much easier for more power. And best of all the filter is reusable, just clean it, re-oil it, save money and go.

Stainless Steel Heat Shield. Steeda knows that hot air is bad for combustion. That's why they have included a heat shield made from 304 stainless steel to reduce the intake temperature to within 5-10 degrees of the ambient air for more horsepower.

Application. This Steeda High-Flow Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed for use on the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4.6L engine. Does not fit Bullitt Mustangs.

I went with the Steeda cold air kit because I wanted the best of them, and I am positive that's what I got. The installation went smoothly, and the fit was great. All the parts and fittings are of very high quality. Driving it was a joy afterward, as I could hear the intake sucking in air as I fed it gas. The exhaust tone was a little bolder than it was before, too - overall an excellent product. There are other good cold air/ high flow intake kits out there, but I would buy this one 100 times again if I had to. Good stuff!
