Increase Horsepower and Torque. The Roush Performance Mustang Cold Air Intake kit replaces your V6 Mustangs restrictive factory air box and paper filter with a high flow filter assembly and intake tube for an increase of horsepower and torque while improving throttle response and fuel mileage.

No Tune Required. Unlike other Cold Air Intakes on the market for the 3.7L V6 Mustangs, the Roush CAI does not require a computer re-tune. The engineers at Roush Performance really did their homework to improve your pony's power using the factory tune.

Superior Quality. Roush manufactures the air box tray and tube in this CAI kit from high quality thermoplastic materials for superior structural stability, and durability.

Reusable Filter. This Roush Cold Air Intake comes complete with a reusable high-flow Roush air filter, so no there is no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

Easy Installation. Roush Cold Air Intake kits are designed to install with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All parts and instructions are included.

Application. This Roush Performance Cold Air Intake is specifically designed for use on the 2011 to 2014 V6 Mustang equipped with the 3.7L Ti-VCT engine and does not require a new computer tune.

    Ask a Question

Will it fit with a Throttle Body spacer? I have the Steeda throttle body spacer and I have seen other CAI's that say they won't fit with a throttle body spacer.

    BigJer51

    • I would not recommend using a throttle body spacer with the Roush or Airaid intake. The fit is already very tight without the spacer.

How much hp could I gain in my 2011 v6 Mustang from this Roush CAI along with a Bama Rev-X tuner?

    MichaelZ

    • It would depend on the tune and octane used on the vehicle, but you could see around 20-30 HP.

Without a tune how much hp added with this Roush CAI?

    MichaelZ

    • The Roush Cold Air Intake without a tune would add around 15 extra horsepower.

      Worth the money

The owner before me had a low quality air intake on the car so I went with the Roush and it was worth it. Intake tube is so much larger than other aftermarket ones and the whistle off the intake sounds amazing!

      gotta have it green

I am extremely happy with this cold air intake. I had put the magnaflow axle back race exhaust on which really changed the sound of my V6 but adding this intake made it sound even better. Much more responsive.

      MADE A DIFFERENCE!!

Didn't take long to install. Upon finishing, took it for a test drive and instantly you felt a the car awaken. Definitely was a good choice to install in the Mustang. Shipping was quick, arrived about four days after purchasing the item. A must buy!!!

      Awesome mod

I have a 14 Roush RS with Roush axlebacks with it came the noisy, raspy sound at higher RPMs. Swaped the BBK CAi with this one and the rasp is tamed quite a bit! No tune required, don't hesitate, get it. Next up Ford Cut and Clamp X pipe!

      Not As

Not as good a fit as described ! I like it but was not real happy how the breather hose angles a bit going into the grommet . No matter how that hose and intake tube are adjusted it never copies the factory fit . I have been working on cars 41 years and along with my cousin , master mechanic and Chrysler service manager , we tried everything and it is still askew .

      Nice Addition

Very easy to install with OEM, but very tight fit if used with an aftermarket throttle body and additional spacer ring. Just microwaved the rubber connector and it was able to go over the new, larger throttle body.

      Throttle Response and Sound!

Took me and a friend about an hour to install, everything fit and the instructions walk you through step by step. My car already has Magnaflow competition catback exhaust and the CAI really let the true sound out of the car. It is a great product and is worth the money. I would recommend Roush when deciding which CAI to get for your (11-14) V6 mustang

      2012 V6 Mustang Conv Pony

The installation seems very simple and straight forward. It would be if all of the parts fit together properly, but they did not. It was a struggle and took considerably longer than stated. After a struggle and lots of maneuvering I finally got it together. It looks great, sounds great and has increased HP. I don’t know if I would choose the Roush product. I might opt for KN.
