The Allstar Performance Radiator Cap 20-24 PSI is designed to maintain proper pressure within the cooling system by elevating the boiling point of coolant, thereby reducing the risk of overheating. It manages coolant flow by releasing excess coolant to an overflow or recovery bottle as the coolant heats and expands and then drawing coolant back in when the system cools to maintain optimal coolant levels. This ensures reliable engine performance through effective pressure and coolant flow management.
