      Description

      Temperature Control. An Ambient Air Temperature Sensor takes the temperature outside the passenger compartment to help automatic HVAC systems control the vehicle's interior temperature. If you want to improve the temperature comfort level in your Charger with an Ambient Air Temperature Sensor, look no further than one designed by Crown Automotive.

      Durable Construction. Crown Automotive has constructed its temperature sensor from solid materials to ensure ultimate performance. Crown is one of the top manufacturing brands for automotive parts, so you can rest assured that this component will serve you for years.

      Easy Installation. Installing the sensor is reasonably straightforward. The old sensor will be either behind the front grille or in the front bumper. To disconnect the wiring harness that connects to it, gently squeeze the push tab. It might be stubborn to detach, so you may need to use a tool to pry it loose, just be careful not to damage the connector. Next, remove the clip from the old sensor and slide the new sensor on. Then reconnect it to the wiring harness and clip the assembly back into place.

      12-Month or 12,000-Mile Warranty. Crown Automotive is confident its sensor will be free from manufacturing defects for at least 12 months or 12,000 miles. Otherwise, if failures are found with regular use, they may offer a replacement. Exclusions may apply.       Application. Crown's Ambient Air Temperature Sensor will fit Dodge Charger models from 2006-2019.
