      Description

      Functional Performance Upgrade. The Type-HC Style Ram Air Hood; Unpainted is designed to replace the standard factory hood, enhancing airflow to improve engine cooling and performance. It directs cold intake air to complement aftermarket performance intake systems and features heat extraction vents to efficiently remove hot air from the engine bay.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-quality hand laid fiberglass and resin, this hood offers durability and strength. The gel coat finish on both the top and underside streamlines the preparation process before custom painting, ensuring a smooth and professional finish. Aluminum wire mesh grill inserts are included where applicable to protect the functional vents.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing the factory hinges and latch for a secure fit with no drilling required. A dry fit is recommended prior to painting to ensure proper alignment and finish.

      Application. This hood is specifically designed to fit the 2011-2014 Charger, providing a direct replacement with functional upgrades tailored to this model range.
