Ferro-Carbon Composite. These Hawk Performance HT-10 Brake Pads are made from a Ferro-Carbon composite material that consists of iron, carbon, and titanium. This gives the pads an excellent friction level, allowing them to provide unparalleled braking power while at the same time giving the driver a very desirable pedal feel. They also offer excellent heat resistance, allowing your brakes to perform remarkably well even at temperatures reaching 1300 degrees Fahrenheit.
