Description
Premium Performance Upgrade. The Chevy LS Oil Pan with -10AN Fittings; 7-Quart Capacity; Black is designed to replace or upgrade the standard oil pan on GM LS-series engines. It provides increased oil volume for better lubrication and cooling, especially in high-performance and custom applications where oil filter relocation is necessary. This part helps maintain reliable oil supply during aggressive driving conditions such as acceleration and cornering.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted from heavy-duty steel for superior strength, this oil pan is finished with a durable electrophoretic deposition black coating. The EDP finish offers excellent corrosion resistance and a sleek, stealthy appearance that complements performance builds while ensuring longevity.
_x000D_Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical knowledge and no drilling, as it uses factory mounting points and accommodates stock LS dipsticks. External oil filter relocation is necessary due to the integrated -10 AN fittings.
_x000D_Application. Designed to fit GM LS-series engines from 1965-72 Chevy GM applications only. Some adaptation may be required to ensure proper sump clearance and fitment in custom chassis configurations.
