The Comp Cams Stage 1 Turbo HRT 221/229 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Kit is engineered to significantly increase horsepower for Dodge 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI engines equipped with VVT and turbocharging systems. This kit optimizes valve timing and lift to improve engine breathing, delivering up to 158 additional horsepower. It is well-suited for applications with unknown back pressure turbo setups while maintaining limited phaser control for enhanced off-idle response.

CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Featuring a hydraulic roller design, this camshaft kit is crafted from high-quality materials to ensure durability and reliable performance under demanding conditions. It includes precise lobe profiles within the HRT series and is engineered specifically for street/strip applications.

INSTALLATION. Installation requires disabling the DOD system and upgrading valve springs to the specified #26918 springs along with installing a phaser limiter for proper operation. Use of Non-MDS lifters is also necessary. The installation process requires moderate mechanical experience and does not involve drilling or extensive engine modifications.
