Description
Signature Engine Upgrade. The Comp Cams Thumpr NSR 214/233 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft delivers a distinctive and aggressive sound unique to Thumpr cams while enhancing mid to upper RPM performance. This camshaft is designed for use with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) HEMI engines and requires a phaser limiter or lockout kit along with a custom ECU tune to optimize engine operation and sound.
Durable Construction And Finish. Manufactured with high-quality materials to precise standards, this hydraulic roller camshaft offers reliability and longevity to withstand the demands of street and performance driving.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and knowledge of VVT system components. No drilling is necessary; however, disabling the MDS system and installing non-MDS lifters is required, along with the use of a phaser limiter or lockout kit.
Warranty & Application. This camshaft is backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It is specifically designed for 2009 through 2023 Dodge 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI engines equipped with VVT, including Charger models within this timeframe.
