The Flowmaster 225 Series Enhanced Duty Catalytic Converter; 2.50-inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet; 49-State Legal is designed to efficiently reduce vehicle emissions while maintaining excellent exhaust flow. It serves as a direct or consolidated replacement part for emissions-controlled vehicles, ensuring compliance with federal EPA requirements and preventing MIL code issues common with lower-quality converters.

      Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter features a durable stainless steel outer shell with a natural finish and an oval clam shell body shape. The internal ceramic substrate is engineered for high efficiency, and the unit includes a heat shield to protect surrounding components. All materials and manufacturing take place in the USA with a premium-grade build emphasizing longevity and performance.

      Installation. Installation requires welding and/or fabrication and is recommended to be performed by qualified technicians. No drilling is necessary, but precise fitting and slip-fit weld-on connections demand professional skills for proper installation.

      Warranty. The converter comes with a 25,000 mile emissions warranty and a 5 year/50,000 mile warranty on the exterior case.
