Heavy-Duty Ceramic Compound Construction. These Hawk Performance brake pads are made from a heavy-duty, high-quality ceramic compound that’s not as harsh on the rotors. Note that these ceramic pads perform best when braking after high-speeds. However, you can still use them for various applications and get the same smooth braking action. These brake pads also reduce heat buildup so you won’t experience any brake fade. Other features include pre-chamfered edges that help improve performance with worn rotors and slotted center grooves that remove dirt, gas, and water. The latter is critical for keeping the contact surface clean to get a stronger grip.
Low Dust and Noise Operation. These brake pads produce virtually zero noise and less brake dust. Less brake dust is particularly important in keeping the pads and rotors clean for a longer service life. In addition, it’s easier to keep your tires and wheels looking good when you have less brake dust to deal with.
Straightforward Installation. Hawk Performance designed these brake pads as direct replacements for OE and/or worn-out pads. You will need basic hand tools and the original calipers and hardware to perform the installation, which will take about 2 hours.
