Description
Intelligent Fuel Pump Control. The Aeromotive VaporWorx Intelligent Relay Control is an advanced safety and convenience device that replaces the basic ignition-controlled relay activation of electric fuel pumps. By using the engine tachometer signal, it intelligently manages the fuel pump relay, providing controlled priming and automatic shutoff in the event of engine shutdown or accident. This system is especially beneficial for carbureted engines and non-ECM controlled fuel pumps, where traditional key-on pump operation can present safety risks.
_x000D__x000D_Durable Construction And Design. The device features a compact form factor measuring 1-1/2" wide by 1-1/4" deep and tall, which allows for installation in tight spaces. It is assembled with UL94 rated components and made in the USA. Wiring is insulated with XLPE, and connection is made via a sealed Delphi GT150 connector. Pre-wired circuits include 15 inches of wiring protected with wire braid, enhancing durability and resistance to harsh automotive conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is simple and does not require drilling. The unit integrates by controlling the negative trigger side of a standard automotive relay. Its compact size and sealed connectors facilitate straightforward incorporation into new or existing fuel systems.
