Description
Performance Enhancement. The AFE 1-3/4-Inch Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are engineered to increase horsepower and torque by optimizing exhaust flow. These short tube headers improve engine efficiency and throttle response, making them ideal for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance and sound without extensive modifications.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from mandrel-bent 1-3/4-inch diameter, 16-gauge 304 stainless steel tubing, the headers feature 4-to-1 mitered merge collectors to reduce turbulence and boost exhaust velocity. Each unit is 100% hand MIG welded by certified craftsmen to ensure strength and durability. The flanges are CNC machined from 3/8-inch thick laser-cut steel for a precise, leak-free seal throughout the vehicle’s life.
Installation. This product offers direct bolt-on installation with no cutting or modifications needed, as it retains factory mounting points, catalytic converters, and O2 sensor locations. All necessary hardware and factory-style metal header gaskets are included, ensuring a straightforward, hassle-free installation process.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2006-2023 Dodge Charger with the 5.7L HEMI engine.
