The 4-to-1 mitered merge collectors are designed to eliminate flow-block turbulence. This improves the exhaust flow of your Charger which results in more torque and horsepower.
Elevated Exhaust Note. Not only does these AFE 1.75-inch Twisted Steel Shorty Headers improve your Charger’s performance, but it also gives it a better sounding exhaust tone. The secret lies with the mandrel-bent tubes and shorty header design which are engineered to maximize the exhaust flow of your Charger. This unrestricted exhaust flow adds a few decibels to your Charger’s exhaust tone.
Retains Factory Cats. These AFE 1.75-inch Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are designed to retain your Charger’s factory O2 sensors and catalytic converters. Despite retaining your Charger’s factory catalytic converters, these AFE 1.75-inch Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are only good for racing purposes.
Stainless Steel Construction. AFE manufactures these Twisted Steel Shorty Headers from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel. These shorty headers feature mandrel-bent tubes, which are MIG-welded to reduce stress and cracks, especially under extreme driving conditions. Heavy-duty flanges ensure that these shorty headers are leak-free for the duration of its life.
