It uses an electronic temperature sensor that installs directly into the oil gallery test port or replaces the factory sensor for accurate readings straight from the source.

Construction and Appearance. This gauge features a 2 1/16" black face with a magnified, tinted lens housed in a two-toned gun metal gauge body accented by a brushed aluminum trim ring. It includes a red illuminated needle that is smoothly driven by stepper motor technology, paired with crisp white LED backlighting for excellent visibility day or night.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed for direct sensor fitting, though an adapter may be required depending on your vehicle’s sensor thread size. No heavy modifications or drilling are typically necessary, ensuring a user-friendly setup experience.

Warranty. Comes with a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
