Description
Innovative Fuel Pickup. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (8X8 CROSS) CENTER OUT - 3/8 IN is engineered to prevent fuel starvation by maintaining consistent fuel flow under dynamic driving conditions such as hard cornering, acceleration, and low fuel levels. Its unique design draws fuel from virtually any fuel contact area within the tank or cell, significantly reducing the risk of engine performance issues or stalling caused by air entering the fuel system.
Construction and Appearance. This product features a flexible fuel-wicking media with a beige finish, designed to be folded and compressed for straightforward installation through various fuel cell openings. Its internal reservoir and 15-micron filtration capability provide durability and protection for the fuel pump, ensuring reliable operation in high-performance environments.
Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward, requiring no specialty sealing paste or tape for the female NPT thread fitting, which simplifies the mounting process. For fixed stud mounting inside tanks, specialized stud kits are recommended but not mandatory for all applications.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty.
Application. Designed specifically to fit flat bottom rectangular style fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 8 inches by 8 inches cross. For optimal performance, it is important that return fuel is discharged near the HydraMat pick-up at least 1 inch above the mat surface to maintain fuel supply consistency.
