Innovative Fuel Pickup. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (11X11 CROSS) - CENTER OUT- 3/8 effectively prevents fuel starvation by maintaining consistent fuel pickup during challenging driving conditions such as hard cornering, acceleration, braking, steep inclines, and low-fuel scenarios. It works by drawing fuel from multiple points within the tank, significantly enhancing engine reliability and preventing stalling. This product is suitable for both stock fuel tanks and racing fuel cells, improving overall fuel system performance.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured using specialized porous media with unique surface tension and fluid wicking properties, this HydraMat features an internal reservoir that retains fuel under dynamic conditions. The mat is beige in color and flexible enough to fold and compress for installation convenience while maintaining durability and structural integrity.
Installation. Installation is straightforward. The HydraMat can be inserted through standard fuel cell openings and connected via the 3/8" NPT threaded center outlet fitting. No sealing paste or tape is needed for proper installation, and in most cases, no modifications or drilling are necessary.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer's limited 90-day warranty for peace of mind.
Application. Designed specifically for flat-bottom rectangular fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 11" by 11" in a cross configuration. For optimal operation, the return fuel should be discharged near the mat’s center pickup at least one inch above its surface.
