Description
Heat Reduction Solution. The Mishimoto T4 Titanium Turbo Blanket is designed to significantly reduce engine bay temperatures by insulating the turbocharger. It contains the intense heat generated by the turbo, preventing heat soak and improving overall engine bay conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This turbo blanket features a volcanic lava rock outer layer combined with a 96% silica fiber inner lining, providing superior heat resistance. The material allows the blanket to withstand direct exterior heat ratings up to 1800°F, radiant heat up to 2000°F, and interior temperatures up to 2300°F. It is finished in a durable, textured titanium color.
Installation. Installation requires moderate effort, with careful placement needed to prevent interference with moving components. Protective gloves are recommended due to the presence of glass fibers in the material. No drilling is necessary.
Warranty. Includes a lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
Application. Fits universal turbochargers with some adaptation required depending on size.
