      Heat and Noise Barrier. The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, measuring 48 inches by 48 inches, provides an effective solution to reduce heat penetration and noise intrusion in vehicle compartments. It insulates areas such as the firewall, floorboards, doors, hoods, and transmission housings, enhancing driving comfort by efficiently managing heat transfer and reducing noise.

      Construction and Appearance. This mat features a core of resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation sandwiched between a reflective FSK (Foil Skrim Kraft) facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. The FSK layer acts as a vapor and radiant barrier, while the foil side disperses heat. The mat is approximately 1/2 inch thick, providing an optimal balance of texture and durability.

      Installation. The Cool-It Mat installs easily using push-in fasteners or weather strip adhesive. The process requires no drilling, allowing for quick application and removal if necessary.
