Description
Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter is CARB compliant with California-grade certification and features 2.25-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet inside diameters. It is engineered to reduce harmful emissions effectively while helping to keep the check engine light off. Designed for universal fitment, it allows installation in the optimal location within your vehicle’s exhaust system to meet emissions standards, particularly in states with strict regulations.
Construction and Appearance. Made from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel, this catalytic converter offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability. It has a spun stainless steel body with a polished stainless finish, assembled using durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds and a single laser fusion weld to minimize leaks.
Installation. Welding is required for proper mounting of this unit. Its compact and lightweight design allows installation in confined areas.
Warranty. This product includes a 5-year construction and emissions warranty for quality and reliability assurance.
Application. This universal catalytic converter fits a wide array of vehicles. It is legal for sale in all 50 states, including California, Colorado, New York, and Maine, provided installation complies with the vehicle's EO number and Engine Family Number matching requirements.
