Description
Universal Emissions Solution. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant; 2.50-Inch is designed to reduce harmful vehicle emissions by converting exhaust pollutants into less harmful substances. It serves as a vital part of a vehicle’s emissions system, helping to meet strict environmental regulations and maintain engine performance. This universal design fits a wide variety of applications where a 2.5-inch inlet and outlet diameter are required.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and extended service life. The body is spun stainless steel with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, featuring a compact round shape finished in natural stainless steel for longevity and a professional OEM-like appearance.
Installation. Installation requires welding and is suitable for professional exhaust system installers. The compact design allows for fitting in tight spaces, but drilling is not required for installation.
Compliance and Warranty. This catalytic converter is CARB and New York certified, meeting the standards required by the California Air Resources Board. Installation is permitted only if the vehicle’s Executive Order number and Engine Family Number appear in the converter’s CARB Executive Order (D-193-194). Warranty coverage is provided for construction and emissions; please consult the manufacturer for specific terms and duration.
