How to Install Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler w/ Gurney Flap (15-19 Fastback) on your Ford Mustang

1. Remove 9 push pins and 2 trunk bump stops holding trunk lid liner in place (bump stops twist counter-clockwise.

2. Pop off latch cover by prying top and bottom.

3. Remove trunk lid liner.

4. Remove 2 grommets on either side of deck lid to expose (2) 10mm screws holding stock spoiler, remove screws.

5. Remove (2) 10mm holding center of stock spoiler.

6. Gently pry stock spoiler up to remove. This will take some muscle. Optional: use heat gun to soften adhesive. Also, if able, use razor blade to cut adhesive under stock spoiler to relieve tension. Highly recommend second set of hands.

7. Remove excess adhesive left on deck lid using adhesive remover.

8. Install True Fiber spoiler in same holes using provided hardware.

9. Tighten bolts to snug from center out to secure new spoiler.

10. Reinstall the trunk liner, bump stops, grommets, and latch cover.

11. Close trunk and prepare to install gurney flap if applicable.

12. Clean gurney flap mounting location on the spoiler using the Alcohol Prep Pad.

13. Once dry, use the provided primer stick on same mounting spot.

14. Peel backing of 3M tape on gurney flap, align with gurney flap spot and begin to install. Press down firmly starting in the center and push outward.

15. Enjoy!
