Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler; 2.50-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive sound ideal for street, strip, and off-road use. It enhances exhaust scavenging to improve engine performance while providing a milder exterior tone and reduced interior resonance compared to standard models.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a fully MIG welded design for maximum durability. It is coated with high-temperature paint, offering a sleek black finish that resists wear and heat exposure over time.
Installation. Installation requires basic tools and uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on methods. Some adaptation may be necessary, and new hangers are required but not included.
Application. Designed for universal fitment across various 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic muscle cars, street rods, late model muscle cars, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs. Some modification or adaptation may be needed for proper installation.
