Description
Engine Valley Cover Upgrade. The Holley LS Trussed Valley Cover Natural enhances engine appearance and functionality by providing a billet aluminum valley cover designed specifically for LS2/LS3/LS7/LSX engines. It replaces the stock valley cover, enabling the elimination of Displacement-On-Demand (DOD) with its smooth underside and ample gasket sealing surface, which is crucial for performance and reliability.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from billet aluminum, this valley cover features a modern trussed design and is finished in a natural billet appearance with clear anodizing to protect against corrosion. Precision machining ensures a smooth underside and robust construction suited for high-performance applications.
Installation. Installation generally requires basic mechanical skills. On LS2/LS3/LS7/LSX engines, careful drilling and tapping are necessary to reuse the factory top-mounted oil pressure sensor. The process is straightforward, with provisions included to facilitate the deletion of DOD functionality if desired.
Warranty. Covered by a Manufacturer’s Limited 90 Day Warranty, providing confidence in the product's quality and durability.
Application. Designed to fit 2005-2013 Corvette C6 models, excluding the ZR1, offering a tailored upgrade solution for this generation’s LS engine configuration.
