How to Install Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Headlight Bulbs - 9007 (94-04 All) on your Ford Mustang

1. Open the hood and locate the headlight.

2. Remove the two pins at the rear of the headlight by pulling straight upwards. If they don’t come out by hand, try using a prybar or long flathead screwdriver.

3. Using your hand or a prybar/long flathead screwdriver, pull straight forward on the headlight.

Note: Do not pull it too far out because there are two cables connected to the headlight.

4. Behind the center of the headlight there is a power cable going to the main bulb. Remove the clip holding this cable on. This is shown in picture one below.

5. Behind the outside of the headlight there is a power cable going to the blinker bulb. Remove the two clips holding this cable on. This is shown in picture two below.

Note: In the first picture below, there is no clip because it was already broken off. All of the clips are easy to break so be careful when you pry them. If any do get broken off, the cable still holds tight.

6. Spin the black circle shown in picture one below counterclockwise and then lift up to remove.

7. Grab hold of the old light bulb with your hands and pull straight up and out.

8. Grab your new bulb and place it in straight downward into the headlight bulb hole.

9. Replace the black circle in the opposite order it was removed.

10. Place the headlight near its installation location and plug both cables back in.

11. Push the headlight back into its installation location. To do this, line up all of the metal and plastic pins with the holes they go into and push by hand until the headlight pops into place.

12. Install the two black pins into the back of the headlight to secure it in place.

13. Follow the same steps for the other side of the vehicle.
