Description

When considering what headers to get, the BBK Ceramic 1-3/4-Inch Shorty Headers are the way to go. These short tube headers feature a specialized design that enables it to maximize exhaust gas velocity. The result is practical gains in torque and power while keeping your vehicle’s street manners. These factors make these headers ideal for daily driven vehicles that occasionally spend time on the track.
Enhanced and Intensified Exhaust Sound. These short headers are also designed to enhance your ride’s exhaust sound by adding a bit more growl to its tone. Specifically, these headers give your vehicle a throatier bass-rich sound that’s sure to make your fellow motorists take notice.
Retains Factory Catalytic Converters. These headers are designed to mount right in front of your vehicle’s catalytic converters, retaining their function. This way you get to maintain ideal emission levels even as you’re enjoying your new performance benefits.
Heavy-Grade Stainless Build Quality. These short headers are constructed from 16-gauge tubular steel high-quality measuring 1.75 inches wide for exceptional durability. These tubes are then CNC mandrel-bent, eliminating any surfaces that create turbulence along their inner structure. Their flanges are similarly machine-formed from 0.375-inch thick plate steel, ensuring an exact fit when installed. Lastly, these headers receive a wear-resistant silver ceramic finish. This ceramic finish provides optimal corrosion protection as well as heat insulation which helps keep engine bay temperatures down.
ECU Re-Tune Not Required. These headers’ free-flowing design is responsible for the gains in power and torque does not require a re-tune of your ECU. That said, re-tuning your ECU down the line will help maximize the performance capabilities of your Charger with your new headers.
CARB Certification Pending. These short headers are not CARB certified at this time and are not for use in California and other states that have adopted CARB certification. Please do check local laws for permitted applications for these headers.
